Tradition, Integration, Qualification -- Discussion in Coutainville Print E-mail
Friday, 06 May 2005

On May 6, 2006, CORE has hosted a discussion on Religious Education in the cultural center of Agon-Coutainville. The topic is currently of great interest in Europe, in particular in France. The introduction was provided in form of a talk by Prof. Dr. M. Meyer-Blanck, professor for religious education at the factulty for protestant theology, University of Bonn, Germany.

Unfortunately, due to private constraints, Prof. Meyer-Blanck could not make his way to Coutainville, but was replaced by his assistant Esther Ospelkaus. The text of his brilliant introduction to this highly controversal subject is available as a PDF file here (in German).

This discussion evening is the second in a series of planned events, organized by CORE on the occasion of its annual general Assembly held in Agon-Coutainville. Several dozen visitors attended the presentation, followed by a vivid discussion. In the evening, many of the participants joined us for the evening meal at CORE.
